Join us for New Haven’s premier wine and food event of the year, all to support Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen and the people we serve!
Hosted by Yale Hospitality in one of the most beautiful dining venues in New Haven, Breaking Bread will showcase two of New Haven’s greatest strengths: Food and Community. The communal spirit of “breaking bread” provides the thematic cornerstone to both DESK’s mission as well as Yale Hospitality’s commitment to making New Haven a healthier and more just place for all its inhabitants.
The evening’s program will include a cocktail hour, offering guests the opportunity to sample local craft beers from Two Roads, Bad Sons, and East Rock Brewing Co., as well as internationally acclaimed wines from Carolina Wine Brands’ vineyards in Italy and Spain. Dinner menu will be designed by European Master Chef Christian Fischer of Yale Hospitality, with wine-pairings by James Todeasa of Union League Cafe and Master of Ceremonies Bruce Barber of WNPR.
